The Turkish carrier will continue to fly to Turkey directly from the Russian city through the EU airspace. The question is about the extension of the agreement on charter flights of Turkish Airlines (THY) from Kaliningrad. The information was announced to TASS by the Director General of the International Airport Khrabrovo in Kaliningrad Alexander Korytnyi.

According to him, the airport and the management of the Turkish national carrier have agreed to extend the charter flights program to Antalya until the end of March 2023. The initiative, moreover, came from Turkish Airlines. At that the flights are direct from Kaliningrad to the EU airspace. Note also that in the summer season these charter flights were operated by Anadolu Jet, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines.

The flights will be operated on Tuesdays and Fridays from November 20 to March 24, 2023. The passengers will be carried by Boeing 737 jets with a capacity of 189 passengers.
